Hedgehog Diary December 22nd, 2008

Well Tiggy has now moved out of the Cardboard box and into a proper little cage..... Big cage actually. It has more room than the cardboard box did. We also have the added bonus of it being plastic bottomed so no leakages of Hedgehog wee. This is what his cage looks after a night of cage explorning and eating and drinking.

Tiggy is getting much braver.... and while Brian had the fun job of holding Tiggy while I cleaned his cage he decided to see what was going on.

I did find a tick on him and as the website suggested I tried brushing it with oil. Hopefully it will drop off soon. Tiggy didn't like this one bit and uncurled and started huffing and puffing at me. Silly little pig.

Now a nice clean cage to start the day. And by tomorrow morning we will go through it all again.
We did weigh our little friend as he seems to not eat on a regular basis, so Brian and I were a tiny bit worried. But we shouldn't have been.... Tiggy now weighs 460 grams. YEAH!!!!
